Accumulation Plan Death & TPD insurance estimator

Note:
1. Children’s education – What will it cost to complete your children’s education? For illustrative purposes only, $10,000 per annum cost per child is not unusual.
2. One-off capital commitments eg. hospital, funeral, estate settlement expenses.
3. Estimated income replacement needed – The estimated capital amount needed to generate sufficient income through investment to support your surviving dependants. If one dependant, multiply estimated annual income needed x 7. If multiple dependants, multiply estimated annual income needed x 10.
4. Net value of existing assets – eg. current value of investments and superannuation. DO NOT include the value your house, contents or vehicles.
5. Occupational Status - Most ESSSuper members are classified as Non-Operational. Operational members are those who are members of the ESSS Defined Benefit and are in a role such as firefighter, police officer or ambulance paramedic.
